The FAA's Airline Transport Pilot Multiengine knowledge test — practice against the ATP ACS, with every answer explained.

Or read 15 sample questions with answers.

About the ATM exam

The Airline Transport Pilot Multiengine (ATM) knowledge test covers what an airline captain must know: regulations, weather, high-altitude aerodynamics, air carrier operations, human factors, transport-category systems and performance, instrument procedures and engine-out operations.

The test follows the knowledge tasks of the ATP ACS (FAA-S-ACS-11A). Applicants must complete the ATP Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) before taking it. The FAA does not publish per-area percentages, so our domain weights are an estimate.
