About the ADX exam

The Aircraft Dispatcher (ADX) knowledge test covers what a dispatcher needs to share operational control with the captain: regulations, meteorology and weather products, navigation, aircraft performance and weight and balance, communications, air traffic control, emergencies and practical dispatch decisions.

The test follows the knowledge areas in 14 CFR 65.55 and the course topics in part 65 appendix A. The FAA does not publish per-area percentages, so our domain weights are an estimate.
